Welcome to heaven on Earth, made from the fragrant amber wood with notes of musk and vanilla, honey and benzoin. Imagine burning a piece of fragrant wood from your fruit garden – full of delicious natural resin, dried blossom and old flowers. Nature’s divine woodiness. Handcrafted by a small, dedicated family in India, our recipe is a closely guarded secret, ensuring each stick carries the essence of a woody amber fragrance reminiscent of the fragrant wood found in lush fruit gardens.
Irene of a very popular Rauchfahne Incense review blog informs: “The Fragrant Amber incense sticks look very similar to Pure Amber . They are also related in smell, but not so closely that they could actually be confused.
Fragrant Ambers have a more robust, full-bodied scent compared to the slightly slimmer Pure Ambers . I smell a tart, balsamic-resinous note in them, which sometimes seems slightly sour. I also noticed this in Saffron Sandalwood from Bhagwan. This bitter, darker aspect gives the otherwise classic, balsamic-sweet and slightly vanilla amber fragrance profile significantly more density; This makes their smell seem extra heavy and deep.
I’m not sure what could be meant by “amber wood”. Perhaps the sweet-smelling styrax bark, whose parent plant is also called the sweetgum tree. But the smell also has something woody and a very fine, floral note, like a pollen-heavy, dried flower.”
