Mike from Olfactory Rescue Service informs: “An incense like Nag Champa Bliss might be easier to review as this is something of a slight variation on a scent most seasoned incenses users will already know, particularly if you’re familiar with the ubiquitous “Gold” Nag Champa (and I wrote this before seeing that was exactly the intent on the page). That is, the classic nag champa scent is quite recognizable in this one, it has just been lightly modified. Modifications of this aroma usually tend to pull it away from its base scent, so it was nice to see this one didn’t go overboard and overwhelm the center, in fact in some ways this just kind of merges it more with the fruitier (peach/nectarine or certainly as Bhagwan claims, melon) champa flower that’s closer to jasmine. I try to admit when I review these that I’ve still not really gotten over the loss of the Blue Box as it was in the 90s, but I do like that this is still reminiscent of the perfume of the scent I remember. However, it’s probably not an incense to go for if you need to reduce your shopping cart and already have plenty of examples in your collection.”
