High grade Oudh is masterfully blended with deodar cedar oil (Cedrus deodara), a tree native to the Himalayas and found in the Hindu Kush. The name ‘deodar’ comes from Sanskrit, translating to ‘timber of the gods. This complex blend offers a bouquet of oudh with leathery and cedar undertones on a rich halmaddi base. Deep and mysterious, it pays homage to the timeless wisdom of Khwajagan – a network of Sufis in Central Asia from the 10th to the 16th century who are often incorporated into later Naqshbandi hierarchies, as well as other Sufi groups, such as the Yasaviyya. G. Bennett, a renowned British mystic and spiritual seeker and a disciple of G.I. Gurdjieff, authored a book titled Masters of Wisdom, dedicated to the work of these Sufi orders on behalf of humanity. We highly recommend it for reading.
